My machines are 15+ years old. Will this even work?
If your machines have an RS485 port, Modbus output, OPC-UA, or EtherNet/IP — yes. That covers about 90% of industrial equipment installed in the US over the last 30 years. We bring the cables and adapters. If we can't get data flowing in the first day, your deposit is refunded.
Do I need to involve IT or corporate?
For the design partner deployment, no. The Dekascale Node runs entirely on your OT network with no internet connection required. We give you a local web dashboard accessible from any device on your plant network. No new ports to open, no firewall changes, no cloud account. IT will love you for not bothering them.
What if my data has to stay on-site for compliance?
Perfect — that's how Dekascale is designed. Everything runs locally on the Node. No data leaves your plant unless you explicitly enable cloud telemetry. Defense suppliers, food/bev with FDA requirements, and pharma plants are key target customers.
How do you compare to Tractian, MachineMetrics, or Litmus?
Tractian requires their proprietary sensors on every machine, and AI inference runs in their cloud. MachineMetrics is SaaS-only and focused on CNC. Litmus collects data but doesn't run AI models locally. We run AI inference on the Node itself, use the data ports your machines already have, and let you add more models as your factory evolves. Different architecture, faster deployment, lower long-term cost.
What happens after the design partner program?
Design partners are grandfathered at 40% below list pricing permanently. When we open the broader commercial program (Q4 2026), pricing increases to ~$799 hardware + $799/month. Your founding partner pricing of $499 + $400/month is locked for the life of the relationship.
